It may be a federal issue but it is a local problem. California must be resolute and demand reimbursement from the federal government for services to illegal aliens. California must also end the practice of sanctuary cities. They have in some cases become harbors for alien gang members. At the very minimum, all efforts must be taken to deport criminals who are here illegally. Prisoners who are here illegally must be deported immediately upon their release. If there are problems with the procedures, then the government must do all it can to ameliorate them. We can't continue to have a two-tiered society.
