Fuller for Assembly

Believe in a better way

Henry MillerMy California roots run deep, all the way back to the Gold Rush.  Roots that began as a miner (and member of the Assembly, 1881-1883) in Nevada City, a rancher in Los Banos and a farmer in Bakersfield.  Seven generations and many descendants later, those roots have branched into just about every field imaginable.  I can count many cousins in law, medicine, education, business and journalism. That includes my second cousin, MSNBC political correspondent, Tucker Carlson.

My roots in California are also here in the Pasadena area.  My grandparents continue to reside in La Cañada and have done so since 1960.  Before that they lived for ten years in South Pasadena on Avon Place.

I was born on February 20, 1978 at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena.  My parents had just purchased a home in Altadena after many years living in an apartment in South Pasadena.  My mom worked as a nurse while my dad started his own music publishing company.

Years in elementary school were spent at Victory Christian and Calvary Christian in Pasadena.  I excelled in history and geography.  To this day I enjoy reviewing historical maps.  Junior high came and I found myself in my first public school-- La Cañada Intermediate.  My father and his siblings had gone to La Cañada's schools and so in turn did I.  1995 came and I graduated from La Cañada High School excelling in AP classes and lettering in varsity swimming.Letterman jacket

I decided to go to USC as a means of honoring my grandfather.  Business Administration became my major along with a minor in Music Industry.  The Marshall School of Business as it became known offers specialties within the Business program and I pursued Marketing and Information Systems.

In 2002 I joined Island Technologies, a tech consulting firm in Granada Hills.  For the next five years, I made calls out to clients in the film, music and garment industries.

That fall I volunteered at the Pasadena Republican headquarters.  My computer and database talents were soon discovered and I was asked to help on the campaign of our Assembly candidate, Dan O'Connell. I came to know Dan O'Connell well and he asked me to be his alternate on the 44th Central Committee.

Two years later, I joined up with fellow volunteer Scott Proctor where we canvassed the 44th District for votes.  We also found ourselves putting up campaign signs for candidate Lynn Gabriel and President Bush.  Long nights became a regular theme.

Trade Show2007 was my final year at Island Technologies.  I had put aside considerable savings and I yearned for adventure.  Alaska beckoned. I figured many have driven to Alaska but how many can say they drove from Alaska to Key West, Florida.  And on top of that drive to the Viking settlement on the north peninsula of Newfoundland.  So I did it.  I spent two months on the road taking photographs wherever I went.Key West

I still live in Altadena and enjoy the San Gabriel Mountains as a beautiful backdrop as well as an escape.  Self-employed now, I recently formed an IT firm, Fuller Concepts.  That has though been asked to share time with another matter and that is my candidacy for 44th Assembly.

Issues that I wish to focus my campaign on are gerrymandering, budget, education, pensions, infrastructure, illegal immigration and government culture.
