Fuller for Assembly

Believe in a better way

Brian Fuller  The 2008 Election is now history.  History was made.  Yes we have a new president-elect.  And while I wish that it was President-elect McCain and Vice President-elect Palin, the voters have spoken.

As you may have already found out, I did not win my race for state assembly, 44th district.  My opponent, Anthony Portantino, has been re-elected.

I did not expect to win and that is due to the fact that it is virtually impossible to unseat an incumbent in a gerrymandered district here in California.  So why did I run in the first place?  Because, I wanted to get the word out on Proposition 11.  We need this redistricting reform and the good people of California agreed on November 4.

Proposition 11 has passed.  My victory is at hand.  This is my takeaway prize from this election.

Thank you for participating in the election.  We may not agree on every issue or every candidate but I appreciate your involvement.

I wish you all the best.
